Nyssa Perrin Clark

Nyssa was born in Eugene, Oregon in the Spring of 1969. Proud to be the third generation of women in her family to graduate the University of Oregon, earning an honors degree in sociology, minoring in French. Nyssa has lived all over Oregon, from Hood River to Astoria, with the Pacific ocean and Oregon’s beautiful rivers, peaks and valleys being a constant source of inspiration, strength and solace. Nyssa resides in Springfield, Oregon where she shares a sweet little 1930’s cottage with her husband and three dogs.

After a lifetime of creating and making, Nyssa began painting seriously in January of 2016 in the midst of recovering from a neurological disorder.

As an emerging artist, Nyssa's paintings quickly found themselves on walls in homes from Oregon to the East Coast and across the pond to Europe. In 2017, Nyssa exhibited and sold work at Gilt and Gossamer Boutique in Eugene, Oregon and at the Creswell Library Community Art Show in Creswell, Oregon. In 2018, Nyssa’s student work "Easter Weekend" was exhibited in NYC at MoMA's School of Education and Research. For the month of April 2019, Nyssa enjoyed her first juried solo exhibition, at the City of Springfield City Hall Gallery in Springfield, Oregon.

Nyssa takes commissions on a limited basis.
